Please be aware when comparing prices that some companies may be using the cheapest components available or may not be replacing the bracket, pole and in some cases the cable, hence, giving a cheaper quote.
Some very important things to ask an `installer`:
1. Do you use digital `CAI`/RoHS approved copper screened coaxial cable on all your installations? There is a difference with using cheap aluminium shielded RG6 cable, which may not be flame retardant.
2. Are you a NVQ qualified Digital installer?
3. Do you use galvanised brackets that resist rusting? (We DO NOT use cheaper painted ones.)
4. Do you only use digital approved aerials. Make sure the TV aerial you are being sold carries the pink digital tick logo like the cable with `approved` printed on it.
5. Is the pole supplied 16g or 18g thickness. We only use the thicker gauge aluminium 1.25" mast that will last longer.
6. Do you have adequate insurance, if any at all, to work on your property at heights?
